Food photography behind the scenes at the Trencherman’s food award ceremony at Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall. When you are working around top chefs in a busy kitchen preparing dishes for a food awards evening the pace is fast and you have to think and move pretty quickly to get the shots you want. I love nothing better! There is no setting up and even with the food dishes you have literally minutes to arrange, light and shoot before you are off photographing more chefs and award winners. These evenings are great, the atmosphere is always fast and furious and with fun chefs and delicious food it definitely ticks all the boxes working as a reportage food photographer.
