A recent shoot featuring classic cocktails with an edible floral twist, took me deep into the heart of Devon to the magical ‘Ever After – A Dartmoor Wedding’ venue near Tavistock. I get to photograph a wide range of subjects featuring everything from international chefs, restaurant interiors, producers in muddy fields to cooked dishes on a plate. This was a wedding themed shoot with cocktails featuring all manner of edible flowers. After research on the mood board themes, all the pastel colours and flower types naturally all fell into place on the day. This helped create the right feel needed by our client Nicola from the food photoshoot. I took and styled each shot following the brief, working with the mixologist Catherine Cheek of Christopher Piper Wines Limited. The beautiful edible flowers were from Maddocks Organics edible flower farm.
