About

Guy has been working as a professional photographer for over 20 years. He trained as an apprentice at a press agency back in the days when photographers developed their own black and white film and meeting deadlines involved getting on his bike and racing across town!

These days Guy works on a freelance basis and his photos are sent at the click of a button using superfast broadband and the latest in Nikon and Apple technology. Guy firmly believes that those early days were fundamental in developing his skills and knowledge which has made him the photographer he is today. Guy still works on news assignments for national papers and magazines but commercial PR, lifestyle, food and interior photography are the areas that he now specialises in.

Guy is passionate about being a food photographer and is well known for his photography within this field. His food photography assignments take him to restaurants, hotel kitchens, luxury spa retreats or simply in the field with foodies gathering their harvest on Exmoor. Guy enjoys it, the creativity, meeting the people and the environment the food is presented.

His creative flair, eye for detail and in particular his understanding of lighting is what makes his work stand out and why he has been recognised many times over at an international level for his work.

He loves working with people and his laid back nature helps him win over even the most camera shy to capture great images. Guy likes to have fun and really enjoys what he does which makes him a pleasure to work with and ensures happy clients.

Based in North Devon he works mainly throughout the South West but frequently travels around the UK and further afield. Guy works for clients of all sizes; from household names to small local family businesses and start-up businesses.

He is also a qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography and a member of the British Press Photography Association.
